Wheelworks, a NI Youth Charity will visit the school for 12 weeks to create and inspire 20 Primary 7 children from Mary Queen of Peace and 20 children from Clough Primary school to produce an app locating special areas of interest in ‘The Glens’, working specifically on their local environment. The project named ‘Trail Blazer’ will be completed as an after school activity under the supervision of Mrs Fiona McConway.  Funding for the project has been secured by Wheelworks working in conjunction with Glenravel and District Community and Residents' Association. We are all very excited about the IT opportunities which the children will experience. This area of the curriculum also links directly with the development of ICT on our School Development Plan.
