We are delighted to premiere our Carol Service.

In a year unlike any other we had a vision of reimaging Christmas for 2020. This included the alternative Christmas lunch, Santa's home visits, a drive-in movie; even our Advent Penance Service had to go online.

At the centre piece of our work this year is the children's Carol Service. It was not possible to have classes mix to perform the play this year or indeed to have an audience in the Parish Hall to enjoy the show. For this year, we have moved online and involved all of the classes in producing the Carol Service. Each of the year groups has taken responsibility for a scene from the Nativity story, singing a carol and producing art work based on the scene. The scenes are linked by the children, staff and Fr Conor narrating the Nativity story. Of course, there is a special place in the film for our P1 pupils, in this, their very first Christmas in Mary Queen of Peace PS.

Thank-you to all the staff for their work in producing the film and the leadership of Mrs McLoughlin (RE Coordinator), Mrs Sharkey (The Arts Co-ordinator) and Mrs Gormley (ICT Co-ordinator).

We hope you enjoy the children's film and are able to share it with your family, in particular grandparents and Glenravel people living overseas.
