MQP Celebrate All-Ireland Success of Past Pupils

Mary Queen of Peace PS welcomed back four of its past pupils (three are included in the photograph) to celebrate the girls winning an All-Ireland Junior Post-Primary title with St. Killian’s College.

Clodagh, Aisling and Eimear were P7 pupils in the very first year of the new primary school; while Katie was in Primary 6. The girls played camogie and football for MQP before moving on the Tower and future success on the national stage. Success certainly follows the girls, when they were in Mary Queen of Peace PS they won the All-County Girls’ Football title.

With the return to play in primary schools’ GAA just beginning, we certainly took inspiration from our past pupils. Thank-you girls and good luck in the exams and your sporing career (with St. Killian’s, Con Magees/Brídíní Óga and the county).
