Online Safety

30th March 2020

Our children will be online, and increasingly online, during the period of school closures. Online activity, when it is accompanied with parental guidance, can be advantageous for our children. It can guide their learning and help everyone keep in contact.

However, the children’s online activity must be managed and monitored by their parents. At this time, with more and more children online, it makes absolute sense that parents need to be vigilant and indeed much more vigilant than in normal circumstances, in order to react to the changing situation.

Please see below our latest guidance: Thinkuknow: keeping your child safe online while they are off school.

Our website has a dedicated section, providing guidance to parents on the children’s safety when they are online. It can be found on the green bar on the homescreen by clicking on the Online Safety tab.

We will keep you updated with online safety guidance during this period of school closures.
