Preparing to Restart School: Stationery, School Bags & Lunchboxes

Restarting school is going to be quite different and in preparation for the new school year we would like to advise you about stationery/school bags/lunchboxes.
Children should have the following items of stationery, which will remain in school. Each item needs to be marked with your child’s name. The parish's St. Vincent dePaul conference has kindly paid for commercially produced labels with each child’s name and class to be printed on them. We will distribute these to the children on their first day of the new school year.
Stationery list:
- Pencil case
- Pencils
- Colouring Pencils
- Rubber
- Sharpener
- Pritt Stick
- Scissors
- Ruler – from P4 on
With Covid-19 restrictions the children will not be using school bags. Instead we recommend that you purchase a tuff bag (see image below) which can be used for homework.
The children can bring a lunchbox to school.
We will keep you informed of other arrangements for restarting school in the coming weeks.
