As we begin the final month of the school year, it is a good time to remember the importance of looking after the mind as much as the body. To help us do this in P1-4 we are going to have two sets of Well-Being Activities for the youngest members of our school to complete. The first set of activities are included below, and we will follow this up with the second set of Well-Being Activities on 17 June.

The children have been busy completing their learning at home packs but now is a good time to change the focus a little. We have attached below some mindfulness colouring sheets which promote calmness, patience and relaxation.

This is also the perfect time to get outside and embrace nature, whether it is in your garden or while out for a walk. I’m sure we have all become so aware of the beautiful sights and sounds, now that we are beginning to appreciate them. The weather has been so kind to us at this time too.

We would really love to see and share photographs of the children out and about, enjoying nature and of course their smiling faces – which we have missed so much. Could we ask you to e-mail your photographs of the children to info@mqpps.glenravel.ni.sch.uk with a caption (perhaps what you are doing or where the photo was taken). Please note we cannot publish the children's names with a photo on the school website. The photographs will be used to create a special page on our school website for the youngest members of the school community (P1-4).
